P5 is a product line of exterior trim boards incorporating the utility of plantation grown Radiata Pine, selected to be free of both knots and finger joints with the scientific use of a dependable, environmentaly friendly treatment system.  P5 is double coated and requires but a single field applied top coat to maintain its 5 year undercoat warranty and its 30 year substrate warranty.

PURITY -
P5's New Zealand pine trim is selected to be defect free on its face and edges.  No knots, no wane, and no finger jointing are permited. 

PREPARATION
Two coasts of oil based (alkyd) coatings are used to enhance the durability of P5.  The first coat penetrates and seals the wood while the second coat (specially formulated for the demands of New England weather) ensures a paint ready finish that needs only a single field applied top coat to maintain a 2 year warranty.  The primer's durability is guaranteed for a period of 12 months following instaltion and exposure to the elements. 

PROTECTION
EPA approved fugicides, tebuconazole and, propiconazole protect against rot and decay.  Permethrin is a natural based insecticide that is included in the formulation.  All ingredients are commonly used as food and crop protection systems.  It has proven to be effective against all types of termites.

PERFORMACE
The LOSP tertment is insoluble in water and will not leach from the tr im board.  It is noncorrosive to fasteners.  The trim board is warranted for 30 years against rot, decay, and insect infestation. 

PRESERVATION
P5 is FSC certified.  It's wood comes from managed tree plantations sustainably grown in New Zealand.  The "Save the Kiwi Fund" will receive a portion of the profits generated by the sale of this product line.
